Journeyman Electrician

Job description
United Electronics Inc., a nationwide company, is seeking experienced journeyman electricians based in Tennessee who are looking to build a long-term career in the electrical and IT infrastructure field. This position offers the opportunity to enhance your technical skills while working alongside top industry professionals on projects across the United States. Roles and Responsibilities

Install, bend, and secure conduit (½" and ¾" EMT).
-
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and control diagrams.
-
Pull branch circuits, feeders, and control wires according to specifications.
-
Use appropriate hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment to complete installations and repairs safely and efficiently.
-
Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform preventive maintenance as needed.
-
Work at heights from ladders, lifts, and elevated platforms.
-
Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure quality and timely project completion.
-
Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
Requirements

Minimum 3 years of electrical experience in commercial or industrial environments.
-
Must have all necessary hand tools and basic testing equipment.
-
Valid driver’s license and dependable vehicle required.

Must be willing and able to travel 100%; work may occur in any of the 48 contiguous states.

Must be willing to travel as needed, as site locations frequently change.

Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug test.

OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 preferred.

Journeyman certification required (must be able to present a physical copy).

Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in open construction environments.

Low Voltage Technician
Location: Remote
Job description
Job Summary:
United Electronics is seeking experienced low voltage technicians skilled in the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of various types of systems including structured cabling and security systems. This is a construction position, not an IT position.
Roles and Responsibilities

CAT5e and CAT6 copper solution installation.
-
Fiber optic cable solution installation.
-
Installation of Security systems.
-
Pulling cables, fire stopping, dressing cables, and labeling to industry standards.
-
Terminating CAT5e jacks, CAT6 jacks, coaxial and fiber optic connectors.
-
Accurately testing copper and fiber optic cables to industry standard utilizing appropriate test equipment.
-
Troubleshooting and repairing copper and fiber optic cables.
-
Read and understand blueprints to determine closet and equipment layout.
Requirements
-
Minimum 3 years of experience installing copper and fiber optic cabling systems including staging materials and planning the execution of work, pathways, TR build-out, pulling cable, terminations (fiber and copper), testing and troubleshooting.

Proficiency in network installations

Familiarity with Cisco routers and low voltage systems
-
Experience managing others.

Read and understand blueprints to determine closet and equipment layout.

Experience in structured cabling and security systems.

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30- required

Reliable daily travel to work-sites

Must be able to work safely following company policy/procedures.

Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, as necessary.

Ability to climb ladders, stand for extended periods, and work in aerial lifts.

Comfortable with, and capable of, working in open construction environments.

Must be willing to travel 100%. We work in 48 states.

Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
